what to expect

We will ask some personal questions like income and basic expenses, including rent, mortgage, utilities, childcare and medical.


We know some questions are difficult to answer so we ensure a confidential and respectful experience.

be prepared

When you come to pick-up your hamper, remember to bring ID for each person in the family.

ID includes: Driver’s license, Heath Care Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, Alberta ID Card, PR Card or immigration paperwork.

what to bring

We do not supply grocery bags. Please bring bags, duffel bags, or backpacks to carry your groceries.


Each hamper contains

7-10 days of groceries for each person in your household.

Our Food Recovery partners support our Bread + Extras Program which is a available without a referral or application to those in need. 

We partner with the Airdrie Health Unit to provide additional supports through referrals to expectant and new mothers.
