Individual Volunteering
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Airdrie Food Bank. We truly appreciate everyone who wants to support our organization and help make a difference in our community.
While we are always grateful for volunteer interest, we are currently actively recruiting for the following volunteer opportunities:
Truck Driver
Using the Airdrie Food Bank, truck drivers pick up donations at various locations in Airdrie and the surrounding area (e.g. grocery stores, bakeries and other businesses).
Special License not required.
Hamper Delivery Driver
Help fulfill the mission of the Airdrie Food Bank by delivering food hampers to community members in Airdrie. Volunteers will use their vehicles to deliver two to three hampers to clients.
This role must be done in pairs.
Volunteer Age Requirements
Individuals aged 16 and older may volunteer independently.
Youth aged 11–15 are welcome to volunteer when accompanied by an adult guardian who is also volunteering.
Children aged 10 and under are unable to volunteer due to safety and liability requirements.
Group Volunteering
