The Airdrie Food Bank would like to introduce you to our volunteers
of the month. We would like you to meet Diane Boyd and David Scheuchner.
They have been volunteering at the Food Bank since September of 2003.
They come to the help out 3 times a week and their job is to keep us
organized in the warehouse. Their duties include rotating stock and
stocking the shelves, sorting groceries and shopping for non perishable
items.
Diane likes to read and play golf in her spare time and volunteers
as well with the Airdrie Special Olympics. Diane says “The Airdrie
Food Bank is my favorite place to volunteer with David!”
David enjoys bowling, swimming and going to the gym. He works at Safeway
and the Best Western and volunteers at the Bethany Care Centre as well
as the Food Bank. David also enjoys participating with the Airdrie Special
Olympics. David says “I like coming to the “Food Bank very
much”.
Diane and David contribute in a big way to the Airdrie Food Bank. We
couldn’t do it without them! Thanks so much for all you do!
