What's New
Call for Volunteers!
HUNGRY? No, well there are some who are. Are you friendly and outgoing and have the ability to brighten someone’s day? If you are then you’re the one we want. Come join our team and be a part of making the growlees go away. You will be lucky enough to fill and hand out hampers and enjoy the company of other volunteer team members like you!
We are looking for volunteers to fill hampers and possibly deal with clients Tuesdays and Friday mornings. If this is a volunteer opportunity that interests you please call Carolyn G. at (403) 948-0063 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Special Thank You
Thank you so much to our sponsors, volunteers, business and community members. We so appreciate the support of everyone throughout this past year - an amazing community of neighbours helping neighbours.
TREECYCLE was a great success
We recycled 342 trees and thanks to our 10 BUCK-A-TREE sponsors that equated to $3,420 to the AFB! In addition we raised $4,019.34 in cash and took in 200 bags of food valued at $2,800. The entire event raised $10,239.34 in aid for the Airdrie Food Bank! Read more on Discover Airdrie and the Airdrie Echo.
