Summer season

Welcome

Our group volunteer program is extremely active this year. Learn more and apply by clicking

If you are interested in a group volunteering opportunity, please fill out the form using the link above. Availability of volunteering opportunities depends on the capacity of our warehouse. Therefore, we kindly ask that you submit your request at least one month in advance of your desired date. This will give us enough time to accommodate your request.

We recommend a maximum of 6-8 people for group volunteering sessions. Your group will assist us in sorting donated, reclaimed, and baby food items during the session. This role is crucial for the Airdrie Food Bank as it helps us process the received food and ensures that our clients receive the support they need.

Our programs and services at the Airdrie Food Bank are designed to provide adequate nutrition for all clients, with the aim of ensuring that no one goes hungry. Sorting Volunteers play a pivotal role in supporting our mission and vision. Specifically, volunteers in this role contribute to the success of our Hamper Program, which is dedicated to providing adequate nutrition for all clients.

Our ability to carry out our mission is made possible by the selfless dedication of our compassionate community volunteers, who generously offer their time every day.

We invite everyone, including friends, church groups, sports clubs, youth groups, and corporate teams, to join our cause and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
